- I think this may be an actual malfunction, since according to the manual, a low humidity problem should produce a "LOW HUMIDITY" error, not a "HUMIDIFIER PROBLEM"

- lroop suspects corrosion/crud on power supply card edge since banging on the machine seemed to have an effect and unplugging/replugging the PSU fixed it
- Nothing else seemed obviously wrong with the machine (Sparks, excessive heat, funny noise from transformer, out-of-spec voltages, etc.)
