- Neither had root access via ksu
- sbaugh/root and ssosothi/root were in /afs/club/service/etc/root-klogin but not /afs/club/service/etc/root-k5login which was actually being synced
- incidentally, LDAP will improve this by allowing us to give out gain-root-by-sudo ability
