• Update from lroop - NetApp has donated 12 more SFPs (the Fiber Channel transceivers), lroop will deliver to B6 on Saturday.

• Another update from lroop - NetApp is scrapping 4 FAS3070s (The replacement for the 3050s we have now)

  • 64-bit/2x dualcore as opposed to 32-bit/2x single-core P4 Xeon

  • Supports Cluster mode and the most current version of ONTAP (I.E. all of the cool stuff gone over in the past 2 NetApp talks)

  • cclub could have them if they wish, but would need to let NetApp know by tomorrow.

    • Idea would be to use them *instead* of the 3050s (So we won't be piling B6 with more gear, the 3050s would be disposed of)
    • Wouldn't need to hassle with pallets and trucks this time, lroop can fit 4 filers in the back of his car easily enough.
