Treasurer report

Saturday

• built a dom0 almost 2 dom0s! (had to fix small bugs in the building protocol stuffs)

Switch blew up

• Monday morning ish, our switch decided to die not sure what was wrong with it yet
  • we had repaired it in the past, fixing caps and such
  we can do an emergency allocation to try to buy a new one we were also offered a 24 port switch by aarons
  • we'd still need another 24 port switch if we were going to buy a 24 port switch, we should just go for 48 ports

aarons mentioned something about a bug tracking system for the club

• this could be a good idea we had things like this in the past, and it didn't get used much

• demosplash is coming up
  • Pittsburgh maker faire also at the same time!
    • maybe they will mention something about us on their site
    we also need to get attention of more people on campus
  maybe do a movie night or something? maybe something about using linux?
  • a linux install night sorta thing could be interesting
    • oh God let's not fuck up everyone's computers

• stuff about setting up new machines mangaging networked computers and so forth
  • maybe something about managing those two uplink ports
