• JFC Rep Meeting:
  • -scgrubber, scunning, cpresau met with new jfc rep -process is a bit different this year
    • -earlier deadline, more interaction
    -discussed goals
    • -rep would like a write-up of projects involving
      • substancial expense asap

    Personal vms
    • -ips are a problem
      • -assign cmu-internal addresses?
        • -this could confuse users
        -port forwarding?
        • -then they don't get the ports they want
        -http host routing?
        • -only for http
      -rest is fairly easy
      • -though we need more ram for it to scale much
    cclubbox
    • -file storage -how much space do we need?
      • -we should be able to give out 5gb/student

      • -they all suck for different reasons
    Unix skills class
    • -no one wants to put up with the crap needed to make it a stuco -could do informal lecture/workshop series -cpresaeu thinks we could get decent turnout next semester
      • -perhaps make it a regular fall thing in the future
