• Treasurer's report
  • What's going on with our budget?
    • ezh poked the SBVPF, finally scheduled a meeting for tomorrow
  • Summary from jlareau, via tparenti

    • We have $3,100 allocated toward capital, specifically toward the following items

      • RAM replacement — $250.00
      • Replacement UPS — $300.00
      • Hardware tools — $100.00
      • Hard drive replacements — $750.00
      • Rack mount hardware — $100.00
      • Server — $1,000.00
      • Server Rack — $400.00
      • Network Switch — $200.00

    • We have $391 allocated toward other org expenses

      • This is not itself enough for data/telecom
      • Our budget request lists $1,000 expected income from "Alumni Donations"

      • tl;dr We are expected to spend ~$1,000 of Gift

  • "The numbers match up... this isn't as horrible as we thought"
  • ezh will request reallocating the $1,000 for server (since we didn't know about the Citadel donation at the time) to server installation costs instead (e.g., rails, power distro)
• Purchasing
  • Approved but deferred until allocation conversation has happened

    • Dolly for B6 (probably from Gift)

    • New rack (from Capital)
• Authorized signers
  • jocelynh is also trained! Now we have two
• Machine Room
  • Went pretty well
    • Had about 10 new members
    • A couple people want to help with demos, even write music for one
  • Email notifications about meetings
    • Keep doing that!

  • Catherine said we should hold off on asking Manuela Veloso if this goes well; just took over ML Dept and will be swamped for a long time

  • Haven't yet gotten quote on power distro
