Hardware list for October event:
Home Computers (Gaming):
- Apple II (lroop)
- Classic Mac (lroop)
- Weasels (B6)
- C64
- Vectrex
- Amiga (also interesting as early GUI)
Consoles (obviously gaming):
- PS1 or PS2
- SNES?
- Sega Genesis?
- Atari 2600
- Maybe 1 or 2 things to appeal to younger people
Workstations/other interesting desktop-ish things:
- NeXT Cube (from Copetas)
- SGI Indy (probably from lroop, maybe cclub's if we can fix it)
- SPARCstation? Maybe try installing old Solaris?
- Terminal connected to something running old text adventures
- Lisa? It's not super-exciting but a lot of people have never seen one.
- IBM P70 with OS/2? If I get it fixed, it's trivial to set up.
AlphaStation running VMS? lroop has one that works
- Display of handheld stuff (calculators and PDAs). These are light, and at least a few people have expressed interest in them.
