How to Poster
1. Get posters from somewhere, or generate them using TAPP
2. Go to posterplaces. There are at least this many posterplaces in these areas (as of August 2014):
- Please help fill this out. Avoid dorms because Housing Services requires you go through their mechanism; see below. Don't tape posters to walls in art department buildings: CFA, Margart Morrison, Purnell

3. Own some tape/own some thumbtacks/steal thumbtacks from other posters on the poster places
4. Use tape/thumbtacks to affix poster in prominent position.
Postering in Dorms
So you want to also put posters in dorms? Ideally start this process at least 10 days before the event.
Instructions are available at https://www.cmu.edu/housing/resident-services/#rescomm or, for short, just follow this:
1. Fill out the Poster Review Application document, and send it along with an electronic copy of the poster to Student Life.
2. Wait for approval.
3. Have lots of posters printed (presumably by Catherine Copetas).
4. Deliver lots of posters to Student Life Office (just inside Morewood, up the stairs).
5. Within approximately 3–5 days, posters go up!
